S1400 Rally

Incoming Project: a new Rally category in Argentina. The choosen cars will be from the B segment with small turbo-charged engines, 1400-1800cm3. The first one I have been working on is the new Volkwagen Gol Trend, which will be developed in all the views. Incoming Rally cars will be Peugeot 207, Fiat Punto, Ford Fiesta, Renault Clio.

Proyecto entrante: una nueva categoria de Rally en Argentina. Los autos seleccionados serân del segmento B, con pequeños motor turbo, entre 1400 a 1800cm3. El primero en el cual he estado trabajado es el nuevo Volkswagen Gol Trend, el cual serâ desarrollado en todas sus vistas. Los siguientes autos a desarrollarse serân Peugeot 207, Fiat Punto, Ford Fiesta, Renault Clio.

Be-On Emotional Hybrid Concept Car is shown in the Museo dell'Automobile in Torino, in the Dream car exposition.
The visit shows Italian dream cars from the 50's up to today. Giugiaro, Bertone, Pininfarina, Alfa Romeo, IDEA, Fioravanti's masterpiece can be seen in the fantastic event.

Be-On Emotional Hybrid està expuesto en el Museo del Auto de Torino, en la muestra Dream cars.
En la exposiciôn pueden verse prototipos italianos desde los años 50 hasta la fecha, de las casas màs importante: Giugiaro, Bertone, Pininfarina, Alfa Romeo, IDEA, Fioravanti, entre otras.

Ferrari Leggenda e Passione Auction

I participed of the Ferrari Leggenda e Passione Auction at the Fiorano Pista, Maranello last may 18th. The show was fantastic with a complete set of memorabilia gadtes and fantastic cars like the 166 bought by an Argentinean buyer or the fabulous 250GT California Spyder sold at 6.4mill. €.

Participé de la subasta Ferrari Leggena e Passione en la Pista de Fiorano, en Maranello el último fin de semana del 18 de Mayo. El show fue estupendo con una collección completa de memorabilia z mas de 40 autos subastados, entre ellas la 166 comprada a 470mil € por un comprador Argentino y 250GT California Spyder comprada en 6.4 mill, €

HSR e-mobile :: Genéve Motor Show 2008

E-mobile is an electric car developed by HSR University from Raperswill (Switzerland). The production cost must be as low as posible, using standar components. I was part of the exterior design team (ID-connect design solutions), working from sketches up to CAD models. In the photos it can be seen the first prototype shown at the Stand 5143.

E-mobile es un vehículo elétrico desarrollado por la Universidad HSR, en Raperwill, Suiza. Los costo de producciòn debían ser muy reducidos, utilizando componentes estandares. Fui parte del equipo de diseño externo (ID-connect design solutions), y uno de los responsables directos, trabajando desde los bocetos hasta el modelado CAD. En las fotos puede verse expuesto en el stand 5143. Por segundo año consecutivo digo presente al Salón del auto más importante a nivel mundial.

Concept light-gloves

This is a preview of a project I have been working on. The idea behind is a pair of gloves, solar cells and LED bulbs, for outdoor activities, or any situation which requires light. The concept was born one day I wanted to replace a bulb of my car, in a supermarket, at 21:00. It took me awhile because of the darkness. Este es un avance de un proyecto en el cual he estado trabajando. La idea detrás es un par de guantes, celdas solares y luces LED, pensado para actividades al aire libre o cualquier situación que requiera luz en condiciones de poca visibilidad.
El concepto nació un día el cual estaba tratando de cambiar un lámpara de mi auto, en un supermercado, y me tomó bastante tiempo al no tener practicamente luz.

Argentinean magazine "Pisteros" has released this September an article about BEON. "Pisteros" is a car-customizing magazine whose main readers are involved in the entire process of building a car, so, the interview has more technical details. Thanks a lot to Juan Pablo Mazzacano for the article. La revista Pisteros ha publicado en el mes de Setiembre una linda nota sobre BEON. Pisteros es una revista de autos modificados cuyos lectores tiene un aspecto técnico ya que ellos están envueltos en el proceso de desarrollo de sus propios autos.

Kangoo Aconcagua

Personal project :: a proposal for a off-road-like Renault Kangoo for the Latin American market. The main inspiration was, of course, the existing Kangoo 4x4 produced in Europe and the old Scenic RX4. Proyecto personal de una propuesta de una Kangoo con aspecto 4x4 para el mercado latino. La inpiración principal la tomé de la versión existente en Europa y la vieja Scenic RX4.

beON :: Pictures Geneva Motor Show 2007

Here I am at the BEON stand at Geneva. It was something amazing, I have no words to describe that moment. I love the last picture because it shows my attitude in front of the project: always fighting, never give up. Aquí estoy en el stand del prototipo BEON en el salón de Ginebra 2007. Fue un momento asombroso, increible, no tengo palabras para describir esa sensación. La última foto la considero un resumen de mi actitud en frente al proyecto: siempre peleando y nunca rindiendome.

beON :: Geneve Motor Show 2007

This is a short selection of sketches which have defined the 1:4 clay model, selected for full development. After that, I lead the project up to the presentation, togheter with 2 great designers, Alessio and Dario. We worked out the details, proportions, suspentions, ... I followed the development of the prototype at Cecomp for at least 3 months. It was a really hard job as you can see. You have to think that this is a maquette and not a working model.
Thanks a lot to Luca Borgogno, Luca Dazzan, Carsten Atheimer, Carlo Palazzani, Alessio Minchella and Dario Olivero who put all their best to achieve this master piece. Podemos ver una corta selección del desarrollo que determinó el modelo a escala 1:4, posteriormente seleccionado ganador para desarrollar en escala real. Posteriormente dirigí el grupo de diseño, junto con excelentes diseñadores como Dario y Alessio, trabajando los detalles, proporciones, las supensiones, ... Seguí el desarrollo del prototipo durante 3 meses en CECOMP, una empresa especializada en el desarrollo de modelos funcionantes. Realmente fue un trabajo muy duro, mas si se piensa que es una maqueta, y el centro de las ruedas está decentrado con respecto a las mismas.

Degree Project :: Argentina

This is my University degree project carried out with the University of Cordoba and sponsored by Idconnect design solutions. It is a laboratory of new ideas and solutions such as electronic paper inside the car to change color, to project pictures, textures, etc. The exterior was worked out as minimalist and simple as possible, but keeping it funny and friendly. I used the Isetta as a reference. Este es mi proyecto de Tesis llevado a cabo en conjunto con la Uiversidad de Córdoba (FAUDI) y la empresa IDconnect design solutions, en la cual trabajo actualmente. Es un laboratorio de nuevas ideas y soluciones como el papel electrónico dentro del vehículo que permite cambiar el color, proyectar imágenes, texturas, etc. El exterior fue diseñado con un aspecto simple y minimalista, pero manteniendo un aspecto amigable y divertido. Usé como referencia el viejo Isetta.

Speed Form

This was a school project. As you see I used a bird as an inspiration for the overall body and some aircraft features for the details. Proyecto que consitía en realizar una forma que exprese velocidad. Usé las aves como principal inspiración y para ciertos detalles, algo de aviones de combates.

DiveMask

Cyclop joins state-of-the-art design and functionality. It allows using reading-glasses for a safer a more comfortable scuba diving, and provides ear protection for high pressure diving. The project was pretty intensive. I finished it in one month. I used mainly markers and a bit of pastel, and of course a lot of ball-pen sketches. Cyclop conjuga diseño de vanguardia con funcionalidad. Permite el utilizar en el buceo lentes de lectura convencional. Provee al mismo tiempo protección para los oídos de las altas persiones submarinas.
El proyecto me llevó un mes, fue muy intenso, utilizando en su mayoría marcadores, algo de pastel, y por supuesto la clásica BIC amarilla negra.

Villa D´Erba 2006

Alfa Romeo Diva at Villa D´Erba "concorso d´eleganza". The car, presented at the Geneva motor show 2006, was modified by my personal friend, Juan Manuel Diaz, who improved a lot the car for the contest. Alfa Romeo Diva en el concurso de elegancia de Villa D´Erba. El auto había sido presentado en el Salón de Ginevra 2006, y posteriormente fue modificado y mejorado por mi amigo personal Juan Manuel Diaz, especialmente para el concurso.

Alfa Romeo TZ 4

SUV Project

3-month project

The idea was a super car with a SUV body. The inspiration was clearly the old Alfas TZs with a V8 engine and 450 HP. The main competitors are the Cayenne GTS and the incoming BMW X-6. La idea detrás fue crear un pura sangre con una carrocería de SUV. La inspiración fue tomada de los clásicos TZs, incorporando un potente V8 de 450 Hp. Por último sus rivales directos son el Cayenne GTS y el nuevo BMW X-6

Cool illustrations

Aston Martin Vanquish: it took me 3 days. I used a wide range of markers, from the 1 to number 9. Then I added some pastel plus some gouache for the highlights. Me tomó hacer la ilustración 3 días. Usé una gama marcadores grises, cálidos y frios, desde el 1 al 9, para hacer la degradación del color. Por último usé algo de pastel y tempera para los detalles.

Lancia Thesis . It is a Canson illustration, cold gray markers for the shadows and a pastel-pencil for the white surfaces. Gouache and white pencil where used for the highlights and the gaps. Illustración sobre una hoja de color Canson, usando marcadores grises frios para las sombras y pastel para las zonas claras. Los detalles los agregué con lapiz y tempera blanca. Es una técnica barata y rápida.

Honda Silver Wing: it gave me headaches but it was a really nice project. It took me a month!!. I worked it out very slowly. I just used gouache. It is spectacular!!!. Como dice en inglés me tomó un mes hacerlo lentamente, usando solo tempera.
